Kristy Scates, BS
​
Counseling professional Kristy Scates has experience working with a wide variety of client
populations including women, men, couples, and adolescents. Her professional interests and
passions involve supporting women and families in times of transition especially during pregnancy,
postpartum, pregnancy loss, and infertility.
As a mother herself, she understands the pressures moms face, not only from society, but also
sometimes from themselves.
With an undergraduate degree in Business Communications and completion of course work in a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Kristy brings many essential components to the
counseling experience including warmth, empathy, and lived experience related to infertility and
motherhood. Kristy is a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and
Postpartum Support International (PSI).
Her counseling style includes a relational, nonjudgmental and supportive approach toward her clients while at the same time, she inspires hope and provides a safe and healing environment for her clients as they navigate some of life's most challenging events.
Kristy is a native of Arizona and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her first
responder husband and family.
The office is located in South Chandler and appointments are offered at convenient times during the day, evening, and on weekends.
